A ReCollective Way: A Way to Work the Future
We want to share with you “A ReCollective Way”, a way of working that consistently delivers better results. We asked ourselves: if we are serious about another world being possible, then shouldn’t our work be nourishing us with glimpses of a thriving, fair, fun, almost sci-fi like, and never-before-seen emerging future? A future that is working for everyone not just the 1%? Now that would be innovative! With all the investment and money in so-called “innovation”, why does our day to day work still feel so distant from this?
In our research we searched for glimpses of that emerging future. We found stunning cases that did indeed feel like pieces of an entirely new paradigm. These cases tended to come from cocreative collaborations that insist on more and different voices being true partners and participants in the birthing of solutions. When we looked at the similarities amongst those delivering extraordinary results, a code for a very different way of working emerged before our eyes, one that happens to create breakout innovation. We have summarized this way of work into five practices that lead to true innovation, solutions that break out of the current system and into the beginning of a new world.
The book, “A ReCollective Way”, describes this way of working.
